         The Craftsman cordless 20-volt nailer is a great choice for the everyday individual looking for a convenient way to be as efficient as they can. Fully cordless design eliminates the need for compressors, hoses, and costly gas cartridges. Lightweight with optimal center of gravity providing balance and comfort during use. The great price puts in the realm of nearly all home improvement professionals, DIY’er, woodworker, and handyman etc. 

        The size of the Craftsman nailer measurers 4 inches wide, 12 ¼” from the rubber of the nose to the back of the nailer, 10 ¾" without the battery installed and 11 3/8" with the battery. The weight of this nailer with the battery is 5.3 pounds with an excellent balance. The color is the typical red and black with white lettering. Battery life is about 420 2” nails into 2x4 lumber with the 1.5-amp hour battery. The time it takes to recharge the battery is approximately 1.2 hours. This nailer FEATURES a tool free of jam and stall settings for the ease-of-use. Belt hook for easy access and will handle a maximum magazine capacity of 100 nails from 5/8” to 2”.

         A few of the things I like about the nailer is the ease of use and the convenience without having to drag an air compressor and hose wherever I go. Another thing I love is not having to wait for air when I need it as it is always ready to go. I like the fact that I can switch from 1” nails for my planter build, 1 ½” nails when I’m building cabinets, or 5/8” nails for the smaller projects.  

Some of the Pros and Cons:

       Starting off with the cons. Size is one of my biggest cons, when you are trying to get in a tight spot it is very difficult to get into small areas with the 12 ¼” nose to back frame. That is one of the only cons I have.

        Now with the Pros, one of the biggest pros I have is the convenience of not caring an air hose and compressor. Another pro of mine there is no wait time, it is ready to go when I need the nailer. Also, with the light on the nailer you are able to see in those low light areas. I like that Craftsman is confident in the quality of their products and they will repair without charge any defects due to faulty materials or workmanship. They also offer a great warranty for a period of time. Lastly, Craftsman has a great customer service team that will answer any questions you might have.
